This was going to be a wordless wednesday sort of thing; however, I have to comment on this photo.

LOOK HOW CLOSE SHE IS TO CRAWLING
I’m excited and scared all at the same time. Excited because, hey, milestone and awesomeness and closer to when we’re adults and can drink beer together. Scared because omggetoutofthat and don’tputthatinyourmouth.
So I’m freaking out both in a good and bad way at the moment.
Also?
Those pj’s are [vintage] and [international]. They were mine, purchased in Germany, and have worn out spots on the knees from when I crawled around on the floor in them.

She’s so serious when she pops up, too. It’s like she’s focusing [really] hard on staying up on all fours. Then she looks up at me all proud. My heart melts each time.
However.
She gets absolutely no traction on the hardwoods. There’s carpet in the bedroom so we’ve done some playing in there. I ordered her one of those foam playmats so she can have more traction and so I don’t have to worry about her head thunking the floor when she topples.
It doesn’t phase her.
But, oh god, the sound.

I’m loving this milestone. It reminds me of all the coaching and praising when she was working on rolling over.
